Our aim is to get children from the region excited about basketball. The program is aimed at all children born between 2015 and 2018. Whether absolute beginners or children with prior experience – everyone is welcome!
In our practice sessions, we teach all the essential fundamentals that make up the sport of basketball. Beyond that, the focus is on movement, motor development, and teamwork.
With our U12 team, we also participate in official league operations in the Upper Franconia district, allowing the children to showcase their skills in exciting matches.

• Thursday: 5:05 PM – 6:05 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (on weekends without games)

Want to try out basketball? A free trial practice is possible at any time with the Foxes (see practice groups). Prior registration is not strictly necessary, but it certainly helps us with planning.
Please bring sports clothing, clean indoor shoes, and a drink – that's all you need!
Our U-12 team is participating in the 2026/2027 league operations in the Upper Franconia district.
No to both. You can start without any prior experience and you don't necessarily have to be particularly tall.
Our basketball program cannot be maintained without active support. Alongside gym times, basketballs and jersey sets form the indispensable basic equipment for our practices and games. There is also a regular ongoing need for training materials. We are all the more grateful for every single sponsor! ♥
Every bit of help goes one hundred percent into practice and game operations. Of course, we are happy to issue an official donation receipt for financial contributions upon request.
For ongoing participation in practice and league operations, membership in TV 1861 Haßfurt e.V. is required.
